A Novel Event is Coming Near You
We need your support!
Where will we pop up next?
Brainchild, multi-published author, Sherryle Kiser Jackson, envisioned a co-op of authors going old school, providing quality books and sitting knee cap to knee cap with real readers. Sounds passé in the age of the one-click downloads. Unlike huge literary festivals that are impersonal and often overwhelming, Pop-up Bookshop provides an intimate environment to talk up our books and garner new relationships between writers and readers.
I remember going to signings of Tina McElroy Ansa, Connie Briscoe and Terrie McMillian and feeling privileged to hear their writer's journey. If you're a book lover like me, you are interested in knowing the character behind the characters or the brains behind the subject matter.
Support us. We want to pack the place to capacity, not only for our own local authors, but for the black owned business who are our host for the event. Space still available for Author Artisans. If not physically, text in for contests and the multimedia event on our Facebook event page is available to spread the word. By all means, run tell that.
