CARVER KUDOS
We are starting a new section in the Chronicle called, "Carver Kudos". We are looking to acknowledge those random acts of kindness and compassion that we know happen every day in our great school.
KUDOS TO...
- Mrs Townsend for all of her hard work and dedication to our students. She cares so much and will do anything to help her students succeed even if it means taking time out of her busy schedule to do so. Thanks for all you do Mrs. Townsend, we appreciate you!
- Mr. Santos and the physical education department for giving up the Middle School gym for PSATs. Mr. Santos ensured that displaced classes were relocated and that the gym was transformed into a testing location. Additionally, thank you to Mrs. Vernazzaro and the cafeteria staff for providing lunches-to-go for all test takers.
- Everyone who works with the MAP program for helping our students through good days and bad and for making our community feel a little more like family.
- Our amazing main office staff for keeping us all organized and fielding all the questions that come with big changes in routine.
- My wonderful co-teacher Mrs. Cornock for helping get STEM off the ground this year. With all of the other crazy things that this year has thrown at us teaching a brand new class seemed like an overwhelming task. Thanks to Mrs. Cornock, STEM was a huge success and will continue to be a way for students to have fun in science as they enter the Environmental and Agricultural pathway. I also learned so much in this class that will continue to help shape the way I teach classes in the future. Mrs. Waitner
6th grader, Christiana Torpes, for the way she has welcomed new students to "lunch bunch." Her kind, caring, and friendly nature is a positive influence. Christiana deserves double Kudos because she is always willing to share her knowledge of all things technology with her classmates! Thank you Christiana!
Ray Amaral for helping out the athletic department and our winter athletes by putting together our brand new chair rack. The chair rack will help organize our brand new chairs that can be seen in the Athletics section.
All those involved who helped with the purchase of our new chairs for our athletes!
- The Transportation Department in Carver! This past Tuesday, a student's mother texted to say her daughter missed the bus for her extra day of support. We quickly emailed and called the transportation department. Within minutes, they had radioed the bus driver to turn around and pick the student up. THANK YOU!
- Ms. Vella for just being you, standing up for what you believe in and encouraging your students and colleagues to do the same! <3 A
The 8th graders, in Mr. Witkowski's period 4A class, for helping film scenes for our new Environmental Pathway video. We had a lot of fun!
- And an extra special thank you to Jacob and Darian for being willing to get in costume for their roles!

CARING CRUSADERS
New media accounts for the Caring Crusaders!
"WHAT"S IN YOUR CUP?"
All CMHS students havereceived a reusable water bottle courtesy of our local substance use prevention coalition, Carver Cares. Students are invited to participate in the initiative by utilizing the bookmark found in their water bottle. This bookmark asks students to reflect on things that help them find joy, such as hobbies, sports, music, etc. We encourage students to engage with us on social media, and can post, tag or message a photo of what sparks their joy to either Instagram @ CaringCrusaders_CMHS Twitter @CaringCrusader1 Facebook @ Carver Cares or Email to CarverCares@gmail.com. By entering a photo submission and/or message, the student will be entered into a raffle to win a $25 gift card! Please contact Katelyn with any questions about this initiative at CarverCares@gmail.com.
