Principal’s Message
We have just one more week of school before the end of the 3rd quarter and the beginning of spring break! We’ll return from break on April 18th for the final quarter and the home stretch of the school year. We are planning to have all of our spring events and activities in-person. We’re excited for our seniors who have a lot to look forward to, including prom, senior breakfast, awards ceremonies, and graduation! Once again, I want to encourage you to closely monitor your student’s academic progress. Our teachers update their grades at least twice a month, and if you have any questions about grades that your student cannot answer, please contact the teacher directly. It’s important that we work as a team to ensure academic success for your child. If you need help signing up for the “Family Access Portal” or any other questions, please go to Parent Center Home or contact our main office at (425) 366-5700. Thanks for your support.
Go Marauders!

Graduation
This year Mariner High School will hold the 2022 Graduation Ceremony at Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett Washington. Like in years prior to the pandemic, we anticipate one ceremony on June 10th at 8 pm. We also anticipate unlimited seating for the families coming to watch their seniors walk across the stage. But, recognizing the unpredictability of the COVID-19 Pandemic, things can change uncontrollably. We look to regular guidance from the Snohomish Health District and will let our Mariner community know if/when there is a change regarding our plans for Graduation.
Senior Events:
June 2 – Senior Awards & Scholarships Night
6/6 & 6/7 – Senior Final Exams
6/7 – Senior Night
6/8 – Senior Breakfast and Senior Checkout
6/9 – Grad Rehearsal (mandatory) @8AM Mariner Gym

Stay Connected!
Information and news about Mariner High School are available in a variety of formats. This year, you will receive a phone message and email from the district if we close or delay school. This helps ensure we reach everyone, including those without an email address on file, before students stand outside at a bus stop, and before parents leave for work. If you added a text message number in the Blackboard portal https://mukilteoschooldistrict.bbcportal.com/ you would also receive a text message. As usual, school delays or closures will be posted on the district website and posted through FlashAlert, which also feeds into mainstream local news feeds.
