Bayville School News

June 2019

Message from our Principal

The year has flown by and we are gearing up for our last month! We have many student activities planned so please read through this newsletter and mark your calendars.

Parents are cordially invited to attend the Field Day, our Flag Day Celebration and the last Quarterly Awards Assembly for the third and fourth grades. Please be aware that only the grade levels indicated will attend these June programs.

Best wishes to our fourth graders as they leave us to move on to the Berkeley Township Elementary School. Please keep us up to date on your future achievements!

All of us at Bayville School would like to wish all our students and their families a very enjoyable and safe summer.

Field Day

This year our Field Day will be split into two days.

Preschool, Kindergarten, and 1st grades will be June 11th starting at 9:00 AM.

2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades will be June 12th at 9:00 AM.

Parents are welcome to come observe in the back playground. Please come to the main office window to get a pass first.

Awards Assembly

Our end of the year awards assembly will be held on Thursday, June 13th at 9:15 AM.

Students from 3rd & 4th grades will be recognized for the year's participation in various groups such as chorus, safety patrol, along with honor roll for the quarter and the year.

Flag Day Celebration

On June 14th at 10:00 AM we will be celebrating Flag Day in the front of our school. Parents and family members are welcome to join us. However, if it rains and we need to move the celebration inside it will only be for the students and teachers.

Nurse's News

If your child has medications in the nurse's office please make arrangements to pick them up before June 18, 2019. Students are not allowed to carry medications with them or on the bus. All medications must be picked up by a parent. If you have any questions please call Mrs. Reese 732-269-1300 ex. 4006

Transferring

One of our end of the year tasks involves making class placements for the next school year. Some Bayville School students may not be returning for the 2019-2020 school year and it is helpful to be informed of that fact.

Kindly contact the main office with your change of address and school your child will be attending. A transfer card and health record will be provided to you at the end of the school year. This will facilitate the registration process at your child's new school.

This is not necessary for students going to BTES.
