Stay cool this summer with Community Ed!
Are you looking for an active way to stay cool this summer? We have just the thing for you--Kayaking 101. Get outside and enjoy the waterways of San Antonio! Learn kayak and river terminology, proper paddling techniques, how to self-rescue, river signals, how to plan a trip and how to select the appropriate kayaking gear for your needs. Our classes are 100% guaranteed, so what do you have to lose?
Summer schedule:
- June 18, 2017, 2:00-500PM

- August 06, 2017, 2:00-5:00PM
- August 20, 2017, 2:00-5:00PM
All classes are for adults at $60/person, plus a $10 supply fee.

Meet the instructor!
Meet Sarah Neal! Sarah has a Bachelors in Environmental Biology and started taking formal whitewater kayaking classes while in New Mexico. She is now an American Canoe Association Level 2 River Kayak Instructor, Level 1 Stand Up Paddleboard Instructor and obtained her Adaptive Paddling Endorsement. She loves to share her passion for the outdoors with all of her students and is an advocate of safety first. Join us in staying cool this summer with our kayaking expert!
