Intro
Have you ever flown on an airplane? Did you know that only 1 century ago there were no airplanes to go anywhere? Now, there are planes that have beds! Say thanks to Wilbur and Orville Wright, the men that invented flight for humans!
Early Life
Wilbur Wright was born on April 16, 1867 in Millville, Indiana. His parents were Milton and Susan Wright and had a brother named Orville. He moved all over the Midwest before he settled in Dayton, Ohio when he was 18.
Middle Life
Since he could not go to college because of injury, he started a printing business. He then made a better press out of spare parts. He then started on a bicycle company. After hearing about flight, Wilbur and Orville were fascinated and then started to study.

He got injured because he played hockey.
He is 5 years older than his brother.
He lived in South Carolina in a tent for 2 years so he could test his planes.
