May 2022 Graduation
Deadline Extended
This is a reminder that any Success Academy student who wishes to participate in the graduation activities with their home school must have all of their course work completed by May 1, 2022 unless they have requested an extension which will not be granted beyond May 5, 2022. Also students who wish to participate in graduation must attend their home school's graduation practice. Students who do not participate in graduation practice will not walk with their class.
To date, we have had 15 students graduate and many more are expected by the end of our school year which is June 9, 2022.
If students wish to graduate and not participate in any graduation programs they can still graduate this year. Their coursework must be completed no later than 11:59 P.M. on June 8, 2022.
Success Academy will have a graduation celebration on June 2, 2022 at 5:00 P.M. More information will be shared in the coming weeks.
Take care,
Janice Wyatt-Ross,
Program Director

How To Report A Positive Case
Under state law, families should notify their child’s school within 24 hours of learning the child has tested positive for COVID-19. FCPS employees who test positive must also inform the district. Fayette County Public Schools has established a COVID-19 Hotline for processing these notifications, which must be submitted to the Kentucky Department for Public Health.
Please choose one of these three ways to alert FCPS:
- Call (859) 381-FCPS (3277),
- Email the COVID-19 Hotline to request a follow-up phone call to report the details, or
- Submit your name and phone number via this online form.
Families and staff may also email the COVID-19 team for follow-up phone contact to gather additional information or to address any questions.
