MIDDLE SCHOOL TO PRESENT "MUSIC MAN"
Tickets cost $6 for floor seating, $4 for balcony seating. Gold Card members pay $2 for Reserved tickets, no charge for balcony seating for evening shows. Gold Card members do not pay for any seat for the afternoon show.
ADVANCE TICKETS available beginning March 9. Information about advance ticket sales is available at the Middle School office or www.GoldenRams.com. Box Office hours are 3:30-4:00pm on March 25 & 26 at the Middle School.

KINDERGARTEN, PRE-K REGISTRATION & FAIR: APRIL 16
Highlands School District will host its annual Early Childhood Fair with Kindergarten and Pre-K Counts Registration on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 5:30 to 8 pm at Highlands High School in the Cafeteria.
The Early Childhood Fair will feature crafts, activities and story times for children and information about the Kindergarten and Pre-K programs at Highlands for parents. Pre-K Counts and Kindergarten Registration packets will be distributed at the Fair. Packets will not be available before the Fair.
Informational Flyers and an Intent to Register Letter will be sent home this month to all Pre-K through Grade 5.

HELP OUR JR. FIREFIGHTERS GO TO NYC!
The Highlands High School Fire Service Training cadets received a special permission to visit the Training Center of the New York City Fire Department, which is normally off limits to the public. They hope to take this trip in April! The cadets will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win 4 Penguins tickets to the Apr. 10 game. Instructor Michael Krzeminski mkrzeminski@goldenrams.com also established a Go Fund Me account to help with the fundraising efforts for this valuable educational trip. HIGHLANDS GIVES BACK: BIGGER & BETTER!
Mark your calendars! This year's annual Highlands Gives Back Charity Concert & Dinner will be held on the evening of Friday, April 17, 2015 at the Clarion Hotel, New Kensington. Yes, this year's event is bigger and better! It will feature a buffet dinner along with cocktail music and performances by the Highlands Alumni Choir and the Murphy Music Center Big Band prior to the concert by the Highlands Gives Back Charity Big Band! The event will also feature a Basket Raffle, 50/50 Raffle, and Vendors. Guests may purchase tickets for the Dinner & Concert ($25) or for the concert only ($7). RAMS BASEBALL PIRATES GAME FUNDRAISER
The Highlands Rams Baseball Team members are selling tickets to the Pirates Game on Sunday, May 24 at 1:30pm vs. the NY Mets. The cost is $24.00 for a ticket in sections 309, 310, 311, or 312. If they sell a total of 500 tickets, the Varsity Baseball Team will get to play a baseball game on the fields of PNC Park on Sunday, April 26 at 2:30pm against Ford City. That game would be FREE admission for all Rams fans! Last year, the team earned this unique opportunity to play at PNC Park with this fundraiser! Relay for Life: Highlands Relay for Life committee meeting is rescheduled for Thursday, March 12 at 6:30 PM in Highlands Community Center. Cash Bash to benefit the Highlands Relay for Life will be held Saturday, April 11 at the Brackenridge American Legion. Doors open at 5 PM. Limit of 1 Person per ticket—NO GUESTS. Donation costs $20, includes two chances to win and food. For Tickets: Call Melissa at (724) 224-2646.
Brandy Marie's Gymnastics is offering OPEN GYM classes at the gym, 326 Second Avenue in Tarentum, for $8 per child or $5 each for multiple siblings. Open gym is held Fridays from 4:15 to 5:45 PM and Saturdays from 2:45 to 4:15 PM. Must have parent sign in and sign a waiver.
Jump Rope for Heart: Fawn and Fairmount Primary Center will be participating in the Jump Rope for Heart event on March 12 (Fawn) and March 19 (Fairmount)! You can help your child be a HEART HERO by collecting donations, permitting them to jump in the event and sharing the word online. Get the details at www.heart.org/jump.
