Thank you
As this is our last newsletter for 2022, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone in our community for helping to make our school a vibrant and welcoming place for all.
May God bless all members of our community with the spirit of peace, hope and joy, this Christmas season, and may we all be blessed abundantly in 2023.
Christmas Concert
Wow what a fantastic Christmas Concert we had on the grassed area last Thursday evening. There was great excitement amongst the students throughout the day and this was also evident during their performances. I'm sure you'll agree they were amazing!
Thank you to our wonderful staff for everything they did to ensure it was a special evening. Thank you also to our fantastic community for your support. It was great to see a huge crowd in attendance.

Final word for 2022 from our P&F President
Last week’s Christmas Concert was a fantastic way to end the school year.
Thank you to Mr Ryan and the Queenies staff for your hard work and effort in making the evening possible. It was great evening, and we were pleased to be able to present the P&F Book Awards.
P&F Awards
Each year we ask teachers to nominate a child from their class to award them a book for either a Citizenship or Endeavour Award. We also sponsor the Spirit Award for the Year 6 student who shows the Queen of Apostles values of love, peace and unity, throughout their years at Queenies.
Citizenship Award – for someone who always follows the school rules, always has a friendly and caring attitude and is a good role model to other students.
Endeavour Award – for someone who is organised, follows instructions and tries their very best in all subjects even if they find it difficult.
Spirit Award – for a Year 6 student who shows the Queen of Apostles values of love, peace and unity, throughout their years at Queenies.

Colour Explosion
Thank you to the wonderful parents and teachers who made this year’s Colour Explosion the best ever!
The Colour Explosion is always the highlight of the year. It’s also our biggest fundraiser for the year with over $10,000 raised! Congratulations to the Year 6 class whose efforts to register for the Colour Explosion were rewarded with a Pizza Party for their class earlier this week.
A big thank you to Carem Carrasco for taking the lead on coordinating the Colour Explosion and for putting in so much time and effort to make this year’s event a great success. Thanks also to Bianca Massam and Renae Butterworth for their support.
