Wednesday, July 31 - Band Camp - 8:00am-4:00pm
  • 8:00am-11:30am - Outdoor rehearsal
  • 11:30am-1:00pm - Lunch + Band Olympics
  • 1:00pm-4:00pm - Indoor rehearsal
Thursday, August 1 - Band Camp - 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Same schedule as above
  • Will start learning drill today! (or Friday)
Friday, August 2 - Band Camp - 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Same schedule as above
  • Will continue or start learning drill
Saturday, August 3 - LBJ Freshman Orientation
  • WHO: Drumline + Cheerleaders
  • TIME: 8:30am - arrive band hall - 9:00am perform in courtyard - 9:20am dismiss

Sunday, August 4 - 1:00pm-4:30pm

This is the second year Mr. East is hosting the All-State Jazz Etude Masterclass!

Required attendance for all current jazz band students. Anyone else who is interested in learning some really fun music from some of the best musicians in Texas, come check it out!

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, Friday are regular band days


  • August 7th - Sleep in!!!
  • Due to LASA Freshman Orientation Wednesday's camp times are 4:00pm-8:00pm
  • We understand this likely changes carpools. Students, let your section leaders know ASAP if you are having trouble arranging a ride. We'll all work together to make sure you can attend.

Monday-Thursday (12th-15th) are regular band camp days

Friday 16th is the annual Ice Cream Social

  • Sleep in!
  • 1:00pm-4:00pm - Indoor Rehearsal
  • 4:00pm-6:00pm - Break/Set-up/Prep
  • 6:30pm - Perform for family and friends! (plus interactive session with families!!!)
  • 7:00pm - Dessert treats in the fine arts hallway
  • 8:00pm - End
