MRESC Regional Bus Driver Training

Partners: Ohio Department of Education – Pupil Transportation Office, MRESC, Ohio High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (OHIDA) Task Force, Fort Loramie Local Schools and Hardin-Houston Local Schools


Overview: The following topics will be addressed during the 4-hour training:


  • Ohio Pupil Transportation Rules & Legislative Update
  • Substance abuse trends, terminology, paraphernalia, concealment techniques, and physiological effects of drugs
  • Behavioral indicators of drug abuse and/or use


Faculty: Ohio Department of Education's Pupil Transportation Office & Street Smart Team, Ohio High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (Ohio HIDA)

8:00 am ODE Update: New Legislation & Operation/Safety Rules

9:30 am –Break


9:45 amStreet Smart Ohio - Substance abuse trends, terminology, paraphernalia, concealment techniques, and physiological effects of drugs.

Registration Fees:

  • $25 for Hardin, Shelby and Logan County Public School Districts, Boards of DD, & Career Centers.

  • $40 for school districts outside of the above counties or other agencies/non-profits.


Our Cancellation Policy - Cancellations must be received prior to June 5th. Otherwise, no refund will be issued.
