Mount St. Helens is located in the Ring of Fire. The last eruption of Helen was on July 10 2008. It rises 8,336 feet high. Mount Saint Helens is 40,000 years old. Mount Saint Helens is a volcano that has erupted many times in the past few years. Mount Saint Helens is fearful but beautiful!!!!

The Bear River is 13,000 feet in the mountains. And drops 9,000 feet from the beginning. Some people think it is 90 miles long, but other people think it’s 491. The Bear River flows right into the Great Salt Lake. Within 10 miles you will find the Great Salt lake. The Bear River is surrounded by rocky mountains.

San Diego is located in California. It’s the 8th largest city in California. With the 43rd biggest population in the U.S. with 1.338 million. And was founded in 1769. One of the attractions in San Diego is the San Diego zoo. The San Diego zoo has more than 3,700 rare animals. 4,000 animals. Their goal is to save rare animals. The San Diego Zoo was founded in 1769. And now has more than 2 million people come and see the animals. The San Diego Zoo is now 32 miles long and is the biggest attraction in California.

Los angeles is located in the beautiful state of California. 4,0000 people come to visit every year. The area of the land is 469 square miles. Los Angeles was founded in June 1781. L.A. was originally a Mexican city. It it did not become a U.S. city until 1848. The population of L.A. is 3.858 million people. The most famous district of Los Angeles is Hollywood. The Hollywood sign is not just a sign that spells out a cities name its one of the worlds most remembrance place. The sign makes people remember all of the movies and actresses, also actors and it is a wonderful place to be.

Alcatraz is an island off of California. It is a half a mile and a half off of san francisco. The prison was a prison for the most difficult prisoners. It was a prison until 1963 then it became an attraction. Alcatraz has more than 1.4 visitors a year. And is named after a bird. Alcatraz bird looks exactly like a seagull. Most people think that Alcatraz is just a prison, but it has way more than just a prison go and see it and learn a lot more.

Disneyland is located in Anaheim, California. It came before Disney World which is in Orlando, Florida. Disneyland, was finished in a year, and opened in 1955. Throughout the years, Disneyland has had 600 million visitors, including 7 U.S. presidents. It is where 21,000 performers work as the Disney characters. Most people love the sweet and savory treats that Disneyland makes. That’s why Disneyland sells 3 million hamburgers, 2 million hot dogs, 6.5 million orders of fries and 1.6 million servings of popcorn, each year! But that’s just the cherry on top of the sunday, Disneyland has so much more! In the 8 sections of Disneyland, there is something for everyone. Main St U.S.A is the heart of the park. For the adventurous, head to Adventureland or if you prefer princesses, take a moment to explore Fantasyland. If this doesn’t satisfy you there’s also Tomorrowland, New Orleans Square, Frontierland, Mickey’s Toontown, and Critter Country. For the young or the old, Disneyland is definitely the hotspot for fun in the west.
