Festivities will include a trunk or treat (5:30 - 6:30 pm), PTA sponsored refreshments (hot dogs, chips, water) and screening of Hotel Transylvania II starting at 6:40 pm.
We are also bringing back the Festive Pumpkin Silent Auction featuring one of a kind creations decorated by each class! To top it off -the Jiji frozen custard truck will be on site with coco, cider, halloween themed treats and donating a portion of sales to the PTA!
We need volunteers to donate and pass out candy for the trunk or treat (if you can only do one or the other, that is completely fine!) We will space volunteers around the play yard and sidewalk for students to visit. Please sign up via MemberHub: https://signup.com/go/dKioAbm Thank you so much for your support! This is a really fun event!

Volunteers get to pick and take their trees home early!
WE NEED ROOM PARENTS!
This is a great opportunity to lend a hand at school, and to get to know your child's classmates!!! Remember, this is one example of what makes our school such a great place!!!
COVID + ?
If you need an at home Covid Test when your child is feeling ill, please let the nurse know! We have them available for our students!!!
Nurse Hall can be reached via email at: email@example.com
MASK+ Water Bottle
MASKS are REQUIRED on school buses and in the school building. If your child does not bring one from home, we will provide your student with a mask to wear! If you would like to opt your student out of wearing a mask in the building please email your child's name and school to: firstname.lastname@example.org. This is the ONLY way to opt a student out of wearing a mask!
Students should bring a WATER BOTTLE! There are only bottle filling stations at schools (no drinking fountain)
Have you turned in your form to your teacher indicating you have read it????
HOMEWORK: EVERY STUDENT SHOULD READ/BE READ TO FOR 20 MINUTES EVERY NIGHT!
Research shows that READING EVERY EVENING is the one thing that WILL SET YOUR CHILD UP FOR ACADEMIC SUCCESS.
3rd, 4th, 5th grade students will have up to an additional 30 minutes of homework as well (math practice, comprehension practice, studying etc). Teachers/grade levels will communicate homework to their class.
2022-23 PTA BUDGET POSTED
The proposed PTA budget for the fiscal year starting July 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2023 is posted at the following location for review of the general membership: https://foxpta2300.memberhub.com/w/executiveboard
Note that this budget will be voted on by members of the PTA during the Back to School Night General Membership Meeting on September 13, 2022.
WHY JOIN THE PTA?
The PTA’s mission is to realize every child’s potential by empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. We hope that all Fox families will support this mission by joining the PTA. Becoming a member creating community connections, supports our students and teachers, and amplifies members’ voices. Help build the village that supports your child!
PTA ACTIVITY FEE
Again this year, we are asking each student to pay a voluntary $15 per student PTA Activity Fee in addition to PTA Dues and any fees that teachers are collecting for their classrooms. We are excited to return to field trips and live assemblies this year which we can support through the PTA, and this fee will go towards the cost of events and programs. We feel strongly that these initiatives benefit our children and help us to ensure that our school mission is realized. This voluntary fee will assist us in being able to provide meaningful support for our students throughout the school year. Pay PTA Activity Fee HERE.
If you are able, please consider donating additional money towards your child’s activity fee, if you are able, to help support all of the children in our school.
