Classroom News

  • Our candy supply for our clip chart system is becoming low. If anyone would like to donate candy to our classrooms we would really appreciate it.
  • Outside Recess:
Students will be going outside for recess everyday. Please prepare your child for the changing weather conditions we are experiencing. We have a lot of students coming to school with no coats when the temperature is only 30 degrees.

Crestview Information

The district attendance policy has been revised.

As part of those changes, your child's teacher will be in contact with you if your child is late or leaves early more than 3 days to school without a valid reason. We want to work with you to keep your child in school as much as possible. Please let us know if there are concerns that could impact your child’s attendance.

Next week we will begin an integrated reading and science unit on plants.

In reading the students will be able to:

  • Describe the connection between a series of historical events, scientific ideas or concepts, or steps in technical procedures in a text.

In math the students will begin learning about telling time and temperature.
