Southwest Valley Choir
JOIN THE CHOIR!!
To get you started..
Here at Southwest Valley Middle School, we have lots of different and fun activities you can do! One of which is choir! The Southwest Valley choir is loads of fun and a great experience. You get to sing lots of great songs, you get rewards, and you learn great singing skills! There are choir concerts yearly, and you get to make new friends with the mixed grades! Plus, if you are in 7th or 8th grade, at the end of the year (with parent/guardian permission, of course), you get a discounted (if not free) trip to Adventureland Park!

Will it be fun? You bet!
Whether you join choir just for the fun of it, because you love music, or even just because of the reward, I guarantee you will have fun. We have a great teacher, her name is Miss Bonnie Goodson. She will teach you great singing skills, and she will make sure that you have fun while doing so. She will not give up on you, and she will never say never. She's not only great because she's a fun teacher; she's a great teacher because she is very determined, and she will always make sure that you are doing your best and that you are prepared for a concert.
How to Get Into Choir… and Stay There!
In order to join the Southwest Valley Middle School Choir, all you have to do is sign up for it. Now if you want to stay in choir, you have to keep your grades up so you are eligible. You can stay in choir if you are failing, but you do not get any of the rewards. If you are in 7th or 8th grade, you will not be able to go to the Adventureland Park trip at the end of the year. In order to keep your grade up in choir, your behavior has to be well, and you have to attend the concerts. If you do not attend a concert, you can either make it up to Miss Goodson and show her that you know the songs you were required to sing or you can take a failing grade on it. Concerts have a large effect on your grade, and you must do the best you can to attend them, or else you have to sing your concert songs to Miss Goodson alone.
