The girls will bring a ribbon for each one of their teammates, their big sister, and all four coaches. Each ribbon strip should measure 12 inches in length, and the girls can add their name and number on the ribbon with marker or paint . If your daughter paints her name on the ribbon, please make sure it is dry before bringing your ribbons to school. Everyone will need to bring the ribbons on or before Monday, October 1st. If you have any additional supplies like staples, hot glue guns, or stickers, please bring them on October 3rd for our mum party.

Great Article MUST READ

I ran across this article on Facebook and found it very enlightening as a mother of a child likely to participate in athletics. I know as parents we want the very best for our kids and strive to provide them with everything they need to be successful. Sometimes our children may struggle with their role on the team, and as parents we have to support and guide them along the way as best we can. As coaches it is hard to play everyone in the program, but our goal is that every girl feels valued, loved, and as though she has an important role on the team. I highly encourage all parents of athletes to read this article as it may help in providing support to your athlete in those difficult times when things aren't working out as well as your athlete might have imagined.
