Health and Safety Update
We are pleased to announce that as a result of the current status of community transmission of COVID-19 cases within Seminole County, the SCPS Student Face Covering with “parental opt-out” and Campus Visitor Suspension procedures will not be extended beyond the October 29th expiration date.
Additionally, the Employee, Vendors, and Contractors Face Covering procedures are suspended as of November 1, 2021.
Effective November 1, 2021, SCPS will move to a mask optional environment across the District.
We continue to encourage care and caution as we strive to achieve normalcy in these unprecedented times. These have been challenging weeks as we have navigated the fluidity of the impact of the Delta variant, and we thank you for your support and cooperation throughout the process.
Your child may still chose to wear a mask, and that is perfectly fine! However, masks will not be provided to students beginning November 1st.

Sock it to Bad Habits!
Let's Focus on our Feelings!
Sometimes, classwork is not easy or interesting, but as a responsible student, it is important to do what is asked. We will focus on skills and situations to teach and reinforce being accountable for our words, actions, and attitudes. We will also discuss strategies to be organized and prepared for the school day, as well as what students can do at home and in the community as responsible citizens.
Title 1 Information
What is Title 1?
Title 1 is a federally funded program available to schools with a high percentage of students eligible for free and reduced price lunch. These funds are above and beyond the district funds given to schools and are to be used to enhance student achievement. In Seminole County, Title 1 serves several public and private elementary and middle schools. All staff at Title 1 schools are required to be highly qualified. Parents may request information regarding the professional qualifications of teachers and staff who work with their child. Contact the principal for more information, Mrs. Amy Barone 407-320-0602.
