Homework Help or Tips for Exceptional Students (Bryan & Sullivan-Burstein, 1997).
Establish a homework routine at the beginning of the year
Keep an assignment book and a homework calendar
Provide learning tools and one-on-one assistance if needed or requested.
Have all materials organized and available to your child at homework time
Develop a plan with your child to completing multi-task assignments.
Use color coding to distinguish between complete and incomplete assignments.
Create a reward system for weekly accomplishments
