- Duties/Responsibilities: Dentists remove decay from teeth and fill cavities, repair or remove damaged teeth, straighten teeth to correct bite issues, place sealants or whitening agents on teeth, give anesthetics to keep patients from feeling pain during procedures, write prescriptions for antibiotics, examine x-rays of the mouth, make models for dental appliances to fix patients, and teach patients about diet, flossing, use of fluoride, and other aspects of dental care.
- Average Hours/Working Schedule: Full Time. 7-9 hours a day. 35 hours a week.

- Salary/Wage Potential: $146,920 per year.
