Moments in Ms. M's

Our weekly wrap up.

This week...

As you know, we spent much of this week visiting our local prek and kindergarten classes. The students were such great helpers. In each class, we read Snowmen at Night and helped the prekers complete a great snowman craft and writing. The 5th graders were so helpful and great with the kids!

In the classroom...

We spent a lot of time reading our novels Maniac Magee and Crash and continued to work on summarizing. We wrapped up our STEM unit with additional oil spill clean ups and we even made pie charts to show how we spent our clean-up budget. We completed our Spanish collaboration project when we presented our SpokenPhoto presentations. We continued working on rounding decimals and decimal word problems. We got lots of practice with word problem task cards and online rounding challenge games.
