Library Hours

The library is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. We are open before school, after school and passes are available during study halls and lunches. We have books, magazines, newspapers and computer access available.

Library Card Signup Month

Did you know September is Library Card Signup month? Do you have a public library card from Albany Public Libraries? We can help AHS students obtain a library card from the public library. Stop by the AHS Library for more information!

AHS Library to Host College Fairs

Mark your calendars for college fairs sponsored by the Guidance Office in the Library: October 1st, October 8th, October 29th and November 5th from 11:00 am - 1:15 pm. Please see Mr. Anderson for more information.


Author Visit on 10/23

Holocaust survivor and author Marion Blumenthal Lazan will visit Albany High School on October 23rd to share her memoir, Four Perfect Pebbles. The Blumenthal family was trapped as Jews in Nazi Germany and for over six years, was forced to live in refugee, transit, and prison camps until the end of the war.

Teen Reader Con

Our inaugural TeenReaderCon will take place on Saturday, November 8th, 2014 at Shenendehowa Middle Schools in Clifton Park. TeenReaderCon will bring area teens together to inspire, share, and celebrate a love of reading and writing. Popular authors Jay Asher, Joseph Bruchac, Eric Devine, Jackie Morse Kessler, Patricia McCormick and Steve Sheinkin will be featured at this FREE event!
