Assisting in Year 6 Pupils Transitional Development into KS3
"Working Scientifically in Primary Science"
Aims for KS2 Science In accordance with the national curriculum framework (2014) our workshops enable pupils to develop ‘knowledge and conceptual understanding’ of the three key disciplines of Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Pupils ‘understand the nature, processes and methods’ of scientific enquiry through the lens of CSI. The ‘uses and implications’ of Science is understood and appreciated by the pupils when framed into contextual settings, allowing an understanding as to how Science benefits the criminal justice system and society, in addition to assisting in your pupils transitional development into KS3.
A Pulse CSI Forensic Science Workshop, aligns with the DfE recommendation for pupils to engage with a range of scientific experiences to enable them to raise their own questions about the world around them, by offering them a deeply contextualised, exciting and engaging experience
