Have you been practicing those talents? Our Mommy & Me Talent Show is almost here! There could not be a cuter event, so please come support our very talented students (and their mommies), as well as the PTO, on Friday, December 4th, from 6-8pm at Main Street Elementary (parking behind Gym). There will be a $1 entry fee per person and concessions available, all to benefit our amazing organization (which also benefits our kids and school of course!). We look forward to seeing you and your family at this very fun, exciting event! J
As always, we would also love to see you at our next meeting, on Thursday, December 3rd, as we meet the first Thursday of every month at 5pm at ECEC. If you cannot make the meetings, but still have ideas/concerns, please feel free to contact our PTO President Teil Mitchell at teilw43@hotmail.com, so that we can add them to our next meeting’s agenda. We’d love to hear from you! Thank you to all of our parents, teachers, and staff who continue to help make our PTO such a great organization!
READING CALENDAR
The Nightly Reading Record Sheet is an amazing way to make sure reading is a priority in your house. When your child returns any monthly reading calendar completely filled in, at any time, they will receive a fun book. If they complete 6 calendars in the school year, they will get to pick a book from our “library,” Ms. Kelly will read it to them, and then they get to take it home. The Record sheet can be found and printed here http://www.troy.k12.mo.us/domain/88

Snow Day Information
Please know that it is always YOUR decision whether to bring your child to school. We understand that you will make the best judgement for your own situation.
School closed, early release and late start are all options that the District may use. In the event of school being closed no classes will be held that day. If early release is used then bus riders will leave at 11 and car riders at 12 and no afternoon session. In the event of a late start, all AM classes will be canceled and the PM class will be in session at 1pm, full day students arrive at 12pm. No lunch will be served on any of these days.
It is possible that ECEC will need to adjust these times due to the timing of the weather, you will be notified as soon as possible.
