Whew! There sure is a lot to know in Navigating the School System, huh? As you have questions, please continue to reach out and ask. Part of navigating the school system is being proactive and learning all you can and questioning what is unclear to you!

San Antonio: Developing a College Going Culture at Home

San Antonio College is excited to welcome you on their campus!


Date: Friday, February 8th

Time: 9:00 a.m.--11:30 a.m.

Location: Visual Arts Center (VAC) room #120.

Parking: Parking on Fridays is easy and you will not need parking permits.


Message from Abby:

The Class will be held in the Visual Arts Center (VAC) room 120.

We will provide refreshments (coffee and pastries). Everyone who attends will receive a tote bag. We will have door prizes!

Tip: After each course, take the time to record a summary statement of your learning, additional questions you have so that when you are ready to put your portfolio together, you've already done most of the work! Also consider taking picture that you'd like to add to your portfolio.

  • Keep phone on vibrate or silent; and
  • Step out of session to take calls.
