Stevens School PTO
Technology Update
This year we are in person and because of this we are not asking families to purchase insurance on devices. We anticipate much less damage or loss this school year. We are so fortunate to have a cart in every classroom and a device for every student. We have integrated the use of technology in our curriculum at each grade level in an age appropriate way.
Open House
Over the summer at the last Reopening Committee meeting the board of education decided to cancel Open House for the 2021-2022 school year. We are avoiding any large gatherings in order to maintain student and staff safety.
Fire Drills
We completed our first two fire drills of the school year over the past seven days of school. Students and staff did a wonderful job! We make sure that students are instructed in the process before the first drill of the year and then they are unannounced for the remainder of the school year. I am very proud of how well everyone completed these drills.
Health Insurance and Free/Reduced Price Meals
Attached is the form for affordable health insurance and the free and reduced meals. It is very important that families complete the form to qualify for free and reduced meals, if you qualify. This data is used to determine eligibility for other programs and services.
PTO Welcome Back!
Our PTO welcomed students back today with an ice cream treat. We are grateful to have such a strong and committed PTO!
