Thursday, October 14th ~ Zoom Parent Teacher Conferences from 2:00PM-8:00PM

Friday, October 15th ~ Zoom Parent Teacher Conferences from 8:00AM-12:00PM

Please click the link to sign up for a Zoom conference for each of your children.

Please call the Main Office at 503-738-5161 if you have any questions.

School Health Advisory for Continuity of Instruction

To maintain the continuity of instruction during school this year, OHA and ODE are issuing the following School Health Advisory, to remain in effect statewide October 2 – October 31, unless otherwise updated:

Schools should hold family events (open houses, meet the teacher nights, carnivals, fundraisers, etc.) online, rather than in-person. If events are held in-person, hold the events outside, ensure all participants wear masks, and maintain physical distancing of 6 feet to the degree possible.

Fun Friday Dress Up Day

Friday, October 29th

Join us for a fun Friday dress up day!

Options for our dress up day include:

  • Wear your costume (this must be school appropriate & not scary for our littlest puffins! Remember we now have preschoolers ages 3 and 4 at school with us!)
  • Dress up as your favorite person
  • Dress up as your favorite book character
  • Dress up as your favorite sport/team
  • Dress up in our school colors (turquoise, black, white)

We will not have any Halloween parties at school this year. Please do not send treats of any kind. We will have a fun activity (art project, etc.) in the classroom instead.

Absent Work for Students

If your child will be absent for two or more days...

Please email your child's teacher if you would like work for them to do at home. Your child's teacher will get a chrome book & work ready to be picked up in the front office.

Emails can be found HERE on our school website.

When to keep your child home from school

We are SO excited to have students back on-site 5 days per week for the entire school day! In order to continue to be able to keep our doors open to all students we need your help! If your child has any of the below symptoms, please keep them home until they are 24 hours symptom free without medication.

In addition, if anyone in your household is sick, please contact a healthcare professional for guidance. You can also reach out to our school nurse, Mrs. Tobi Boyd if you have questions. Her contact information is included in this newsletter.

Thank you in advance!

Lost & Found

Do your recognize any of these items?

Please contact our office by October 29th if one of these items belongs to your child! 503-738-5161 or dhillman@seasidek12.org.

Please help us by writing your child's first and last name inside of sweatshirts, jackets and any other items (water bottles, etc.) so we can get them quickly returned to your child. At the end of the month we will donate unclaimed items without names.

Thank you!
