REMINDER- LIBRARY POLICIES
1. Library opens at 7 am- please get a morning pass from a library staff member ( you must have this pass to enter)
2. No food in the library.
3. Always sign in on the iPad at the library entrance.

Your teacher will give you a special class code for you to join the class.
GOOGLE CLASSROOM will also be used for all SPHS clubs ( to replace REMIND)

Gale's Testing & Education Reference Center
How to Access:
1) Go to the SPHS library webpage
2) Click on the tab "Research Databases"
3) Scroll to Gale Testing & Education Reference Center. Click “Open Now.”
4) After you select what you would like to do
(i.e. High School Tools Advanced Placement Exams Online Practice Test)
you will be prompted to Register.
Create a User Name and Password that you will remember.
Recommendation: Use the same user name and password you use to log into the school computers.
By registering, you’ll be able to track your progress/scores!
SPHS Book Club Is Back!
Book Club meets once a month after school in the library to discuss a book students have chosen to read together.
Join us at the first meeting of the year after school on Wednesday, September 20, at 2:18
Our 1st title will be: The Memory Book by Lara Avery.

Banned Books That Shaped America
The Library of Congress created an exhibit, "Books that Shaped America," that explores books that "have had a profound effect on American life." Below is a list of books from that exhibit that have been banned/challenged.

Legos, Erector Sets, Lincoln Logs, Tinker Toys, Glue Guns, Wooden Sticks, Pipe Cleaners, Clear Storage Totes, Arts & Crafts stuff, sewing supplies, card stock, stamps, origami paper, cardboard tubes, duct tape, electronics- any and all items are more than our Maker Space.
If you donate anything to the SPHS Library- please make sure your name and address is on it. You will receive a tax donation letter within 1 week.
