Welcome New Staff!

Miss Musat

Hello, I am Miss Musat and will be teaching Kindergarten this year. I am so excited to be a part of the Kirtland Family. I received my Bachelors degree from Kent State University in Early Childhood Education. After graduating college, I spent my time as a substitute teacher and taught students ranging from K-4th grade. This past school year I taught third grade, but I am even more excited to follow my dream of being a Kindergarten teacher this year! I recently moved to Willowick with my fiance and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also like to spend my free time outdoors and staying active.

Mrs. Jacobucci

I graduated from Kent State in 2005, and have been teaching art to children ever since. I am so excited to begin my new journey as the art teacher at Kirtland Elementary School. I look forward to welcoming your children into the art room and helping them become the best artist they can be! When I am not teaching art, I am spending time with my 10 year old identical twin boys, Daniel and Dominic. I enjoy watching them play football or cheering them on at wrestling tournaments. I also spend a lot of time with my 3 year old rescued pit bull Fergus. Be sure to stop by the art room and introduce yourself!

Mrs. Reeves

We welcome Marie Reeves back is an Intervention Specialist who taught at Kirtland Middle School for 12 years. She retired recently to focus on the small farm she and husband, David, have in Chardon and to spend more time with their amazing children and grandchildren. Although she absolutely loves spending time in her garden and sugar bush and with her flock of hens and hives of honeybees, she missed being in the classroom and began substitute teaching. Marie is excited to be filling in as a long-term substitute this fall for Jamie Kamensky, working with some of our exceptional students.

Open House

On Tuesday, August 17, from 5:00-7:00PM, we will celebrate back to school with our Open House and PTA Ice Cream Social! Join us for the fun here at KES! You can stop in to your classroom to say hello to your teacher and drop your supplies off. Please keep in mind that this should simply be a quick visit to introduce yourself. Our PBIS team will also have a scavenger hunt that will allow students to show their parents around the school.
