BLACK HISTORY MONTH
The Black Lives Matter website explains the group's history and has ways for you to take action and support the movement.
Honor the some of the military's most courageous black veterans:
- The 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry Regiment - the first Black military unit raised in the North and served with the Union Army during the Civil War.
- The Tuskegee Airmen - The first Black military aviators in the U.S. Army Air Corps in WWII
