FACTS Grant & Aid Applications now open

The Diocesan 2019-20 Grant and Aid Financial Aid application for students in grades K-8 is now open https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3H1T8

The deadline to apply for Grant & Aid is March 1st.

Your child will need to be re-registered for next year by March 1st in order for you to be eligible for Grant & Aid allocations if you qualify. This includes any students on a wait list.

If you know of any new families interested in St. Anna School and Grant & Aid, please let them know the deadline to file their application and that their child(ren) needs to be registered as a student by March 1st.

FACTS Grant & Application Information

Please reach out if you have any questions. I encourage you all to apply even if you're unsure if you will qualify. There are funds available each year and the list that is generated by the applications (even if you do not qualify) is used by the state to allocate our Title Funds which support our school.

Applications for the 2019-2020 School Year can be found on the school's website:

http://www.stannaschool.org/admissions.html

Returning students need to fill out a new form. We need a new form completed for each school year.

Outdoor Recess

Please note that we go outside EVERY day as long as the temperature is 32 degrees or above and it is not raining. It's been a cold winter already and it's kept us indoors too many days. Some students were surprised to go outside today and not all were prepared. Students should come to school EVERY day anticipating going outside. They should have a winter coat and preferably hat & mittens. We send students outside with what they wore to school that day. Many still go out with just a sweatshirt and not hats or mittens/gloves. If you'd like your child to bundle up for their 30-45 minutes outside each day, please have them bring those clothes to school.
It's also a good time to remind you that ALL students should also have an extra pair of gym sneakers AT school. Indoor recess is in the gym and only students with a pair of gym sneakers are allowed to use the gym. No school/outside shoes are allowed on the gym floor.

Once we get snow we'll send home info about snow clothes to play IN the snow too!!!

Nurse Notes:

It is that time of the year when germs are everywhere. This is a reminder that if a child has a fever, vomiting, diarrhea or a contagious infection, they need to remain home until they are free of those symptoms for 24 hours or on the appropriate medication.

We expect that students will attend school when they are fighting a cold. We will work with those students on using tissues, hand washing, sneezing or coughing into their elbow (Dabbing!) to help keep the germs at bay.

Our classrooms and hard services are cleaned appropriately to eliminate as many germs as possible while still keeping the good bacteria.

When in doubt, please just ask! We are here to help.
