Some helpful reminders...
- Please send any changes in transportation with your child in the morning, if possible. This gives the teachers an opportunity to remind your child, if appropriate.
- Remind your child of any changes.
- If you need to make a change, please try to call before 3:00 if possible to help with end of day coordination.
- Keep your pick up number displayed in your car until your child comes to your vehicle. This assists our helpers in getting your child to your car as quickly and safely as possible.
- Continue to pull all the way forward. This helps tremendously in getting all the cars through the line quickly and safely.
NEXT MEETING: January 4 @ 6:30

DIRECT YOUR DOLLARS - SpartanNash Receipts
Emmons Lake has the opportunity to earn $1000 from SpartanNash, simply by shopping at any local company-owned store, including Family Fare Supermarkets, D&W Fresh Markets and Hardings Grocery and sending the receipt to school! This is VERY helpful, especially this year because we are unable to have any fundraisers thus far and we didn't have any at the end of last year!! Through the “Direct Your Dollars” program, we can turn eligible receipts into cash for our school! Just send your receipts to school with your child to give to his/her teacher. For every $150,000 in receipts we collect, we will earn a $1,000 donation from SpartanNash. We do need original receipts, so no photocopies. Start sending in those receipts!! We’ll collect them throughout the year. With your support – and your receipts – we’ll be raising money for our school. It’s easy to do!!!!

Message from the Principal...
Roy T. Bennett challenged us with this goal, "Start each day with a positive thought and a grateful heart."
I know that this is something I do better on some days than others. It seems this time of year can be filled with the hustle and bustle of the season that may bring joy to some and stress to others. Or, maybe if you are a little like me, some of both.
2021 has been quite the year and while there has definitely been challenging moments, there have been far more moments of joy, positivity, and gratitude. This is because of YOU. Every single student, parent, family member, educator, and community member is the reason we are able to celebrate, reflect, and express gratitude this time of year. Thank you to each of you for being the light. Thank you for all of the kind words, encouragement, and understanding.
I hope that you are able to go into this season with more joy than stress, that you know how thankful we are for you, and how much we apprecite you sharing your most precious gift - your children - with us.
As always, we hope you remember...
You are appreciated.
You are loved.
You matter.
Grateful to Serve With You,
Mrs. Schultz
