What We Did This Week
In Science we have been investigating how changes affect ecosystems. Students did some research to become an expert in a specific area. They then had to teach their knowledge to others. They are great teachers already!
What We Will Be Doing
In Math we will continue with adding and subtracting fractions on Monday and Tuesday then take our October Checkpoint on Wednesday (tentatively). On Thursday and Friday I plan to have students work on adding and subtracting fractions and decimals. This concept will be covered in next week's flip video assignment, which is due on Thursday.
Next Week's Homework
In Science students need to complete Science Week 7. Please have them complete 5 problems per day and to justify all answer choices.
Upcoming Events
College Day is next Wednesday the 7th. We encourage students to wear their favorite college attire.
Tutoring begins Tuesday and Thursday of this week in my room from 8:10-8:35. If students would like to attend to make up work, finish work, or come in for specific help on a concept, please email me in advance that they will be coming so that I may properly prepare. I will be inviting specific people for specific skills, but I do allow others to come in as needed with an open invitation.
