Upcoming Events
GUEST SPEAKERS: Tuesday, March 8th at 6:40pm
Join us at 6:40 to hear from Melissa Larson. Melissa is from Beaverton School District and will present information on the upcoming bond measure.
At 7:00pm we'll start our last session with Megan Barella, Positive Parenting Coach.
One last thanks to all of our sponsors for helping make this speaker event possible: Danielle Bade with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Spencer Rubin with Play Fit Fun and Scott and Sandi Proctor with Impact Sign Company.
The NRCO could use your help!
Volunteer Opportunities
The district has recently updated their COVID protocols and we can now offer volunteer opportunities inside the school building. We need your help to get some of our favorite programs and activities going again.
Our goal is to have a robust team of volunteers ready to get started supporting our students, staff and community with on campus programs and activities by the return from Spring Break.
We look forward to volunteering with you!
Reminder
All volunteers must have their vaccination card uploaded into Better Impact and have passed a background check.
Art Lit
Art Literacy is back and we need your help! Volunteers need no previous art experience or education necessary! We're looking for volunteers with an interest in learning and sharing art with children. All information and materials are provided and responsibilities are shared with other volunteers. You can choose to present to the class, or be a class assistant. If you are interested in volunteering for your student's classroom please contact Amanda Cary (manda_lee2001@msn.com) for more information.
Our first training will be on Wednesday, April 6th at 9am and 7pm, in the school cafeteria.
Croc Walk
Croc Walk is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We are looking for a team of people to plan and coordinate the Croc Walk. It is currently scheduled for Friday, May 20. If you would like to help make this happen, please contact Jill Rector at president@nancyrylesco.com.
Production Room
Our teachers love to have help with tasks like copying, cutting, and prepping projects for students. This volunteer opportunity gives an opportunity to help behind the scenes with real needs in the classrooms. Find shifts to sign up on BetterImpact.
Library
Do you love being in the center of the school? Helping shelve books in the library gives you a perfect spot to be in the heart of our school. We’ve also heard it's a great quad workout! Find shifts to sign up on BetterImpact.
*NRCO Need*
The NRCO is in need of a Volunteer Coordinator to join the leadership team. This person is responsible for welcoming and training new volunteers at Nancy Ryles, updating BetterImpact with school-wide volunteer opportunities, and coordinating with Classroom Liaisons for Classroom volunteer needs. If you are interested in volunteering for this position or learning more about it, please contact Jill Rector president@nancyrylesco.com. Starting now is a great way to decide if this is a volunteer position you’d like to have for next year.
