News from this week
Dear Parents,
Thank you so much to Jenni Mallory and the whole class for bringing me a delicious lunch and beautiful tulips today for my "half" birthday! I am truly honored to have such great students and parents in my class this year!
It was SO nice to see students running their own conferences. They did a great job and really took ownership of their own learning. I will finish conferences this next week. If you were unable to attend a conference and would still like to meet, please let me know! I can set up a time to meet with you in the next 2 weeks.
Friday, March 1 is our Reading Extravaganza. We will have a guest reader come in to read a book, and the students can dress up as a book character.
S.T.E.A.M Night is approaching quickly. Please scroll down for important details.
Please make sure your child continues to work in Education Galaxy several times a week. I will continue to assign weekly homework to help your child practice their reading skills. Even if they finish and assignment, please feel free to have them practice other subjects such as Math and other topics. It is a great resource to help your child practice for Milestones and District Assessments.
The Have a Heart...Fill the Cart annual drive continues for one more week. Thank you to everyone who has contributed already. Please scroll down for more information.
Georgia Milestones Practice
The link below is for the Georgia Milestones. Feel free to have your child explore, so he/she becomes familiar with the platform. Students had an hour to explore before break.
