Dear Pawsome Loring Families,
It has been so wonderful having our students and teachers back in the building this week! As I walked through the hallways, classrooms, and lunchroom, I observed laughter, excitement, and fun! It was great to see classroom communities being developed, new friendships forming, and our pawsome community together! We will see our complete school community on Wednesday, September 8th when our kindergarten students join us for their official first day!

COVID Readiness Form - Please Complete
Walker Dismissal
If you walk through the path across from Loring or walk towards Landham Road, you should meet your child near the flagpole. If you walk towards Alta Road, you should meet your child near the baseball field hill.
Please remind your child to check out with the staff member before meeting up with their adult or walking home.
Car Arrival and Dismissal
Please remember that you should be entering the car line near the baseball field and not the main entrance to the school, this is for arrival and dismissal.
For dismissal, the gate opens at 2:00 p.m. each day. Please do not plan to arrive at school before 2:00 p.m. or you will be blocking the exit to our school.
Dismissal Changes and Reporting an Absence
To change your child's dismissal during the day, please email loring_office@sudbury.k12.ma.us or call 978-579-0870. It is important to let the office know of dismissal changes by 1:00 p.m. each day.
If your child will be out of school, please call the absence line at 978-579-0870 and press 1 by 7:30 a.m. Your message should include your child's name, teacher, and the reason for the absence.

Loring Core Values
At Loring School, we are PAWSOME because we show our Core Values! These values are part of everyday life at Loring and reinforced in the classroom, on the playground and all around school. Students are taught the meaning of each word and how they make us better students and citizens.
Respect ~ Responsibility ~ Caring ~ Best Effort
The Loring Pledge
The Loring Pledge is said every morning during announcements. Loring students embody our pledge and we hope this stays with them not only when they are at school but home as well.
