Andros Coral Reef

Location: Bahamas between the islands of Andros and Nassau


Length: 124 miles(200 km)


Interesting Facts: The Andros Barrier Reef is the largest reef complex in the western North Atlantic. The Andros Barrier Reef is famous for its deep water sponges and large schools of Red Snappers.


Activities: Snorkeling, Scuba Diving, Swim with tropical fish, hike through forested parks, and admire the surreal blue holes that Andros is famous for.


Vacation: Andros is the Bahamas largest island while also being it’s most sparsely populated and least explored, making it ideal for adventurous eco-travelers, nature and bird lovers, and sportsmen as well as those looking for classic island vacations.
