Karyn Bruggeman is the National Press Secretary for the State Innovation Exchange (SiX), a strategy and resource center for a network of over 1,500 progressive state legislators. In this role, she manages press engagement and supports the efforts of the communications team. Prior to joining SiX, she spent three years reporting for National Journal, where she covered state and national politics including the 2016 presidential campaign. In that role, Karyn appeared on national TV and radio programs including CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, and BBC World News to discuss her reporting. Karyn is a graduate of the College of William & Mary, where she majored in government and minored in women’s studies.

Join in the Entrepreneurship Center on Thursday to learn more about the packed event schedule this fall, including the Catapult Startup Building Weekend, an Alumni Founder Speaker Series, weekly $100 Rocket Pitch Competition and many more. Students of all years and majors are welcome. Food and refreshments will be provided, as well as the chance to win raffle prizes.

If Hired, Responsibilities Include:
- Raising awareness for foster children
- Completing weekly assignments and attending a weekly Skype meeting with supervisor
- Creating and managing a fundraising campaign and event to support the cause of TWR
- Participating in social media marketing and being an advocate for foster youth in your community
