A Year of Gratitude
April 17, 2020
School closed for the remainder of the school year. Stay tuned to your emails and messages.
From the Principal...
Hello Seton Families,
This week we received news that Amira, a fourth grader at Seton, has been diagnosed with leukemia. We ask that you keep her and her family in your prayers during this difficult time. We know that prayer is powerful.

We wish you all safe and healthy days ahead. May God bless you all. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us.

Dr. Stephanie Nardi, Principal

If I Had One More Day...
A special poem for all of our students. While we can't take credit for writing this poem, we miss seeing you each day. We will be here for you, just differently.
If I Had One More Day (a poem to my students)
If I had one more day...
I would’ve made sure you had all you need,
By picking out your favorite book to read.
We would’ve complimented each other at the end of the day,
To never forget the kind things people say .
I would’ve talked in a very funny voice,
To remind you that your attitude is always a choice.
If I had one more day...
We would’ve encouraged each other with a pat on the back,
So when remote learning days are hard, we can stay on track.
I would’ve wrote you a note to remind you how amazing you are,
To keep your spirits up even if you are far.
We would’ve danced to “I’m Alive” as it’s our favorite song,
To instill gratefulness in times that seem so wrong.
If I had one more day...
I would’ve made goofy faces- like crossing my eyes,
To make you laugh when there are times you don’t want to try.
We would’ve sang all of the birthday cheers,
To let you know you are not forgotten my dear.
I would’ve hugged you every so tight,
So when you left our room it simply felt right.
If I had one more day...
We would’ve ran outside to take your picture by the wall,
To show how much you’ve grown since that one day in fall.
I would’ve looked in your eyes and told it was going to be okay,
To teach you that nothing lasts forever and continue to pray.
We would’ve shed some tears knowing things won’t be same,
To reminisce about our funny jokes, accidents, leaky windows, just to name.
If I had one more day...
I would’ve told you, “you inspire me,”
To let you know that you pushed me to be the best I could be.
We would’ve giggled at the way we clean up our room,
To laugh at the way some of you hold the broom.
I would've given you the biggest high five you ever had,
To make you feel happy and not at all sad.
If I had one more day…
