Messages are available on both mobile and desktop.
SEESAW allows students and teachers to communicate with parents in real-time and allows parents the flexibility to see what is going on in the classroom on their time.

DPS Pantry
Dickinson Backpack Program
The Dickinson Backpack Program is a food program that provides school-age children with easy to prepare food on weekends and during school breaks. This program is meant to assist families who may be struggling financially with providing their children enough food.
If you believe your child could benefit from this program, please stop by the school office for a permission form for your child to receive this donation.
Safety Drills
During the first few weeks, we will be working with students to practice fire drills, tornado drills, and safety lock-down drills. We do this as a measure of practicing safe routines in the event of an emergency.
Sometimes these drills can be unsettling for students so please reassure your child(ren)that practicing is important.
Important Library News
During the last few years we have experienced a large growth in the number of students that we have enrolled at Lincoln Elementary and with this growth we have had an increased loss of books and damaged books, in order to prevent so many missing and damaged books this school year we are asking for your help to continue to grow and maintain our Library by returning Library books in good shape and making sure to pay for lost or damaged books promptly.
Please remind your student(s) to follow these few simple instructions:
1. WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE READING LIBRARY BOOKS. Sticky, grubby fingers will leave marks on pages.
2. USE A BOOKMARK; SELECT A THIN BOOKMARK TO PROTECT THE SPINE. Do not ever fold a corner of the page down, books that are placed face-down with open pages tend to end up with broken or damaged spines.
3. AVOID MOISTURE AND WATER. Liquids in the backpack are the leading cause of water damaged books. Water damage is nearly impossible to fix, so it will have to be paid for.
4. KEEP BOOKS AWAY FROM YOUNGER CHILDREN AND PETS, puppies in particular will have great fun chewing up a nice new book, and small children might like to draw on the pages or tear them.
5. Overall, RESPECT THE BOOKS. Don’t highlight paragraphs or write notes. Take care of them as if they were your own.
6. It is IMPORTANT to INFORM THE LIBRARIAN OF ANY DAMAGE TO A BOOK. Don’t try to fix it yourself. Let a professional deal with it.
IF YOUR FAMILY IS RELOCATING PLEASE INFORM THE LIBRARIAN THAT YOU WILL BE LEAVING. We will ask that the student keep their books at school the week before they leave.
Thank you for your help in growing and maintaining the Lincoln Library.
