Honors Admissions & Transitions Team (HATT) Applications are LIVE!
Interested in helping prospective Honors students in their college-decision process? Want to show your room in 1300 off to current high school students? Want to give back to Temple and the Honors Program? Apply for the Honors Admissions and Transitions Team (HATT)! HATTs, or Honors Ambassadors, have a unique role in Temple Honors admissions -- and we're looking for more students to join! Anyone can apply, so click HERE to get started. Applications close October 3 at 11:59pm! (*Note: you must sign up for an interview slot in the Lounge to complete your written application.)

Daycare Job - With Ori & Lill
Want a chance to hang out with a couple of Honors staff kids? Two of them will be going to this school later this fall and you could work there!
Jane Munn School is a PA Keystone Star 4, NAEYC Accredited center. A "Special Place to Grow and Learn" for both children and adults. Excellent opportunity to learn best practices in quality early childhood education.
Duties include implementing all center program/education goals, Keystone Stars and NAEYC Standards. Located in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia at 8131 Ridge Ave.

Next Steps AmeriCorps Mentoring Program
The Next Steps AmeriCorps Mentoring Program pairs upperclassmen to mentor first-year students within their same major and/or school. Mentors support first-year students via weekly meetings and organized activities on-campus. Upon completion of the program, mentees are then invited to participate as mentors themselves. It is free for first-year students to participate in! Lots more deets to the right.

Have you been following the NFL - National Anthem Debate? Join the discussion as the College of Liberal Arts welcomes Dr. Harry Edwards. Edwards is a sociologist, civil rights activist, and author of the The Revolt of the Black Athlete. You can see a bit of Dr. Edwards here on CBS Sunday Morning. Personal note: I read him a bunch in grad school and he is sharp!
