New Assistant Principal Appointed at Benjamin Franklin School
At the Regular Board of Education meeting earlier this week, Ms. Jamie Mahan-Linder was appointed Assistant Principal of Benjamin Franklin Elementary School effective July 1, 2019. Ms. Mahan-Linder is currently the Math Coach at Benjamin Franklin School and has over 17 years of experience as an educator. Prior to her position in District 41, she was an Instructional Coach for middle school math teachers in Marquardt District 15. She also was an administrator and teacher in Chicago Public Schools.
Ms. Mahan-Linder earned a Master of Science in Teaching Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a Master of Education in Administration/Supervision from Loyola University of Chicago, and her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Saint Mary’s College. In addition, she holds an Illinois Administration license as well as an Early Childhood Professional Educator License.
