Coach Quinter (team 1) & Coach Berends (team 2)
Congratulations Edward Brown- National History Day Winner!
Edward Brown qualified for the National History Day competition by winning the NYS History Day competition with video documentary Belvedere, Gdansk, and the Round Table: The Polish Path to Freedom
This competition is highly competitive with top students from top high schools all over the high school. In a lot of schools (private schools) this competition is a class students take or it is like a sports team where a coach has a salary and they meet regularly. Edward did this all on his own and beat out these other schools. Already this is a HUGE deal. The national competition is serious where Bill Gates and Ken Burns have been guest speakers. Winners of the national competition in some categories are already offered full scholarships to universities like University of Maryland and Case Western.

The tickets will be $65 each and that price includes a mandatory sales tax of 8%. Tickets should be available for purchase by Thursday of this week during certain lunches TBD.
