Mr. Luckett leads our award winning Band and dedicates his time to providing an excellent learning experience for our students. I also want to congratulate Mrs. Jade Kruger, our SRP of the year. Spring Dual Enrollment Information
Dear WCHS Dual Enrollment Families,
We hope this message finds you well.
The Spring 2022 DE registration information has just been released. In order to be guaranteed registration during the dates and times specified by PHSC, students and parents must complete the online terms and conditions, and enter their course requests online by October 25th.
However, prior to completing these steps online, students must first send their Spring 2022 Dual Enrollment Online Registration & Course Request Worksheet to their counselor, via email, for review and approval. Students MUST communicate with their counselor to get the DE Worksheet approved and discuss course selection. While completing this worksheet, please consider PHSC may only be offering courses via online instruction in the Spring 2021 term; so please be sure to choose BOTH "ONLINE AT PHSC" AND "FACE to FACE AT PHSC" as options, unless you absolutely do not want to take the course online. Further, also please make certain you check the "HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUS” option for the following courses offered at WCHS:
AMH 2120 (DE US History)
BSC 1311 (DE Marine Biology)
ENC 1102 (DE English)
Please carefully review all Spring 2022 registration information contained in the following link and let us know if you have any questions.
http://www.pasco.k12.fl.us/oll/page/dual-enrollment
PERT Testing Information:
PHSC has opened up virtual PERT registration for DE students. This test option is proctored remotely by PHSC proctors. DE students may register for this option at https://www2.registerblast.com/phsc/Exam/List. However, there are limited spaces available.
PHSC is already offering limited in-person PERT testing for students who cannot access the online options. To meet the demand, they will also expand in-person testing across their campuses following social-distancing guidelines. This expansion will be available until the remote proctoring service is launched. PHSC is working on the logistics for this now and will notify us once students are able to schedule exams using the same link as above.
Spring 2022 Dual Enrollment Online Registration & Course Request Worksheet
Dear Parent/Guardian:
Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) utilizes an online Dual Enrollment (DE) application/registration process. This process is now open to all eligible students.
The Spring process is as follows:
1. New DE students complete an online application at https://100891engagecms.campusnexus.cloud/custom-portal/user-profile/login?ReturnUrl=https%3a%2f%2f100891engagecms.campusnexus.cloud%2f
The deadline for the application is January 5, 2022.
2. Eligible students complete this DE Course Request Planning Worksheet (bottom) and meet with their High School Counselor by October 25th . Students and parents must log-in to digitally sign the Terms and Conditions online and to enter the courses from their Course Request Planning Worksheet. Access to the Terms and Conditions and the Online Dual Enrollment Request Form is available via the PHSC website: https://admissions.phsc.edu/start/high-school/dual-enroll/charter-public.
· Dual Enrollment courses offered on a student’s high school campus must be taken at the high school and not on the PHSC campus.
· Pasco eSchool is offering CGS 1100, GEB 1011, GEB 2112, SPC 2608, SPN 1120, and SPN 1121 in the Spring. Students who are interested in taking one or more of these courses should plan to take the course through eSchool UNLESS their high school offers the course on campus.
3. High School Counselors approve or deny the requests November 1st.
4. Students will receive email notification from a PHSC Academic Advisor of approved/denied DE courses by November 15th. This email will be sent to each student’s PHSC email address.
5. Students will register through their student portal and WISE, on the following the dates and times below, for approved courses.
The deadlines indicated above must be met in order to access online registration during the dates and times outlined below. Students who do not meet deadlines may experience a delay in the registration process beyond the initial registration window.
