ELA: We will be wrapping up our drama unit, comparing and contrasting mythologies and analyzing famous speeches. We will also start our STAAR Bootcamp to review and prepare for our STAAR Test which will be Wednesday, April 11th. Time to do work and SHINE!
MATH: Students completed a benchmark, with the benchmark data students completed a data dig to see where their strengths and weaknesses are. Students will use this data to determine when they need to attend STAAR tutorials and what videos will need to be completed. All students will receive a STAAR Review book on March 21st. Students will need to watch videos and complete notes over low performing concepts. Then they will complete a series of questions that when combined will make up a complete STAAR Test. A letter was sent home explaining this in greater detail. Students will work on the review from now until the STAAR test. Our STAAR Test will be on April 10th.
SCIENCE: We are working on forces that change the Earth. Soon we will start to review for the STAAR in May.
