Career Readiness Tip of the Month--How to Develop Your Career Over Winter Break
A great way you can work on developing your career readiness is either creating or updating your LinkedIn. LinkedIn is far more than just a social media website. It is a fantastic tool you can use to connect with others who are working in the fields that interest you. If you visit LinkedIn.com/alumni you can filter through William & Mary alumni to see if there are any you would like to connect with!
Check out our #QuestionswithCohen video where Kelly tells just how you can use this function of LinkedIn.
Another great thing you can do over break is refreshing your resume! Having a strong resume ready is crucial for when you start applying for internships and jobs for the summer. Take a look back at some of our previous newsletters for great information about how you can upload your resume to TribeCareers.
If you have any questions make sure to schedule an appointment at the Career Center before the semester is over! We're open through Thursday, December 20!

TribeCareers Tip of the Month--Tools you can use over Winter Break
As we close out the school year, you may want to know how you can improve your career at home. A great tool to use for this is TribeCareers. Throughout the semester we have highlighted different techniques that you can use through TribeCareers.
- In September, we showed you how you can subscribe to different industry newsletters through TribeCareers. These are great ways you can keep up to date on different opportunities in your career field on and off campus!
- In October, we went over how you can apply for externships on TribeCareers.
- In November, we discussed how you can upload your resume to TribeCareers.
Make sure to go back to all of these newsletters to use these techniques over Winter Break!
