How do we get the range of the Badgers seasons? We subtract the lowest loss from the highest win and then we get our range!
So first, we find our highest win. Which is 31. Our lowest loss is 3. So 31-3 equals 28. 28 is our range.
How do we get the mean (or average) of Wisconsins wins?
We add up all of the numbers which is wins. Then we divide it by the number of seasons. That means we divide 197 divided by 8. Which equals 24 5/8. But we have to round up so that would be 25 wins per season.
How do we get the mode (or most) of Wisconsin's wins?
We have to group up all of the numbers of their wins in numerical order and group them by each number. The answer to this problem is 31, because there are no more numbers that grouped together, are greater than 3.
How do we get the median of Wisconsin's wins?
Well, we have to group them all up. In order. From the least amount of wins to the greater amount of wins. So now, the numbers are (in order) is, 23, 24, 25, 26, 30, 31, 31, 31. So now we take them off from left and right, almost like we are pinching the numbers off tighter and tigher. So now the median is 26.
