Religion
Religion is a large part of what makes a culture it's culture and what brings the people of the culture together. There are many types of religion but the 5 most common are Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam.
Christianity
Christianity is a monotheistic religion which is most common in the western world. The main basis of their belief is the Bible. They also practice baptisms as well as communion. The two most important holidays in the Christian religion are Christmas and Easter.
Judaism
Judaism is somewhat similar to Christianity. They believe the Bible but only the Old Testament whereas Christains believe in both the Old and the New Testament.
People who believe in Judaism are also known as Jews. It is a monotheistic religion.
Hinduism
A very prominent religion in India and Nepal, Hinduism includes multiple other religions. Hinduism is known to be a very polytheistic religion. It is known as the oldest religion.
Buddhism
Another religion prominent in India, it is not so much a religion as it is a lifestyle. The Buddhist lifestyle is centered around peace and calmness. They do not believe in a god or many gods or even a higher power. They instead follow the man called Buddha himself.
Islam
Islam is a monotheistic religion that is based on the words of the Qur'an which is technically their holy book. Their God is Allah and this religion is predominantly based in the MiddleEastern countries like Saudi Arabia.
