What Determines Your Car Insurance
Driving History
Driving history can affect your car insurance. If you have had a lot of wrecks or have many speeding tickets then your insurance rate will be high. If you are a good drive and do not get speeding ticket or parking violations or have wrecks then your insurance rate will be lower.
Credit Reports
If you have bad credit and do not pay your bills on time it will make your insurance rate go up. Your credit report can be used by car insurance companies to use your credit history to drive up your insurance costs.
Age, Gender, and Marital Status
Age and gender does matter. New drivers are always viewed as higher risks when insuring and married women typically have the lowest rates, while unmarried men pay the highest car insurance rates.
