Señora Mills’ Spanish 1 Tigers
Weekly Update 3/21/16
Where has the time gone? We have two more months of school, and we a re currently gearing up for Spring Break!
The Spanish 1 classes have been working on vocabulary that focuses on places around town and around the school and sports and pastimes. Also, we are learning to you the verb ir (to go) to say where we are going and what we are going to do. We have been watching a crazy song about a student skipping class and a scary teacher who needs to know where she is going.
Since my last update, the students learned their months and how to say dates like birthdays and holidays. They also learned the verbs tener (to have) and venir (to come). They know how to express their birthdays and how they are feeling (hot, cold, hungry, thirsty, etc). They did a great job on their last summative, which was a verbal interview!
