Staff for Awakening Retreat #34

Happy Veterans Day! To all the men and women, past and present, thank you for your service to our country and blessings to your families who support you.

Now that we have a theme for Awakening Retreat #34, Rooted in Love, the task of preparing for the next retreat has begun. You are receiving this email because you've recently registered to staff the next retreat.

Simply filling out an electronic form doesn't automatically ensure that you will be staffing the next retreat. There are responsibilities associated with those who serve on the retreat team. If you haven't read them, here's a copy of the expectations and responsibilities for those who wish to serve on staff.

T-Shirt & Banner Designs

T-Shirt and banner designs come from all of us. We need your creative ideas to help us create an image that captures the essence of our retreat theme.

If you are planning on submitting a t-shirt design, please be sure that it is an electronic design. You may send your designs to me,

Attendance and Participation at 4th Nights

As a reminder, we meet weekly for an experience we call 4th Night. It is the 4th Night of the retreat. During these gatherings we continue what we started at Awakening; faith sharing, deepening our understanding of faith, and journeying together as a community touched by the love of God.

Your attendance and participation at 4th Nights help us build a sense of team with each other. It is very important for those who wish to staff the next retreat to be present at each 4th Nights. We only have two more left this semester, so please be sure to come and plan on being on time.

  • Sunday

Advent Reflections

Campus Ministry will be sharing Student Reflections of the daily scriptures during the season of Advent. The first reflection will be posted on the First Sunday of Advent, November 29.

This will be a wonderful resource for us as we begin to prepare ourselves to celebrate Christmas and to allow Christ to be born in us each day.
